Managing Your Voicemail

These instructions outline how to delete, save, and move (forward) voicemails using the CSISD phone system. Each step includes the relevant prompts and keypad options you will encounter within the voicemail system.

Note: Simply deleting the voicemail within your email does NOT delete the message from the phone system. You will need to access your voicemails through the phone system to delete them. Alternatively, you can submit a work order, and we will delete all voicemails from your voicemail box for you.

Accessing Your Voicemail

• From your phone:
  • Press the Message button (usually labeled with an envelope) or dial *97.
  • Enter your PIN when prompted.
    • If you need to reset your PIN, please submit a work order.

Voicemail Main Menu Options

After logging into your voicemail, you will hear prompts similar to:

• Press 1 to listen to new messages.
• Press 2 to change folders (e.g., saved, old messages).
• Press 0 for mailbox options (greetings, PIN, etc.).

While Listening to a Message

During message playback, you can use the following options:

• To delete a voicemail: Press 7 during or after playback.
• To save a voicemail: Press 9 during or after playback.
• To forward a voicemail: Press 8; You will be prompted to enter the extension number of the recipient.
• To repeat a message: Press 5.
• To skip to the next message: Press 6.
• To go back to the previous message: Press 4.
• For advanced options (hear time, caller number): Press 3.

After Completing Actions

• You may hang up at any time after completing your voicemail management tasks.
• If you want to manage greetings or change your PIN, return to the main menu and press 0 for mailbox options.
